How to Make an Origami Lily

Hello everyone!

I am here with yet another project. For our digital storytelling project, my partner Beyza and I decided to create a short “How To” video on making an origami lily. Origami is a fun and creative activity, and lilies are one of the most beautiful flowers. It is perfect for gifts and decorations and  they are really easy to make!

We wanted to do something visual and practical, and origami was the perfect fit. It’s something anyone can try at home with just a square piece of paper. We filmed the folding process step by step to clearly show each move and we added narration to explain what to do in a simple, clear way. It was a challenge to fit everything into 2 minutes, but in the end, we made it. We used CapCut to edit the video, add audio, and make smooth transitions. Making this project taught us how to break down a process clearly for others. We also practiced voice recording and editing.
