Well, it’s the second time I will say goodbye here. I don’t know if I will ever post here again… only time will tell. This year’s course was really good; it was neither too hard nor easy. However this semester had many other assignments on top of this course’s, so I personally found that frustrating. Weaknesses of this course could be that we didn’t get feedback on our lesson plans, so I don’t know if I did something wrong or right but I understand it’s due to the time constraints. After a while we get used to creating material and an assure lesson plan, now I am a lot more confident in making them.
My favorite assignment is the last one (AI in ELT), we did it rather quicker than the other ones and it came out better! We didn’t want to use AI in the usual/easier way, so we wanted to integrate it into the task. I am proud of the work we have come up with.
My least favorite is the first one, I see the pattern here, it was the hardest one to do because we weren’t sure on what to do. So as we did the tasks they became easier to create.
What I would tell the future students of this course is that it gets easier. Overall, this course is very helpful for us so even if doing the assignments or trying to come up with different ideas for the task is difficult, it is worth it and, in the end, you will be proud of your work.
This course has contributed to our development by familiarizing us with different tools and techniques. I had no idea that something like corpus data existed. Not only did we see new things but we saw ways to integrate them into the classroom, the ways to utilize them for best results. While it is upsetting that we never see lessons like the ones we learn in real life classrooms, I hope the future teachers will actually use technology to improve their lessons because there are so many ways it can be useful.
While it’s difficult to do something, in the end when you look back, you see that those are the ones that actually improved you. Because when you push yourself, you see that you can do much more than you think. These are my general thoughts about this semester. I am very tired, but with a feeling of accomplishment.

Well, I guess this was all, I hope you like this blog as much as I do. Thank you for drifting along with me.
Thank you for reading.
Farewell
